the Grace of the season is wonderful!

Except for all the food! Leaving food littered on your plate is just bad taste! It makes it look like you dislike the food the host has given you. Here is a little tip my lovelies:

take a little bit the first time, then go back and get more! That way if you don't like something you don't have to eat more of it.

the exception being when someone serves you....which is not something they should be doing anyways! How awkward would that be....here have a mountain of aspic! What if the guest hates aspic and is to shy to say anything? YUCK!

if anything the food should be pre - plated and brought out so that it looks classy and there is only a little bit of everything on the plate!

Dear goodness how long has it been darlings?

the answer: too long!

I have decided to switch the blog up a little bit, this is because my life has sort of taken a different direction. While fashion is incredibly interesting and quite the art for and an exceptional means of expression; I have learned a lot about myself in recent months.

As crazy as this is about to sound I want to return to the classics. And no as cliché as this post is, I am not referring to literary classics. What I mean is life classics, or the classic way of life.

I am speaking of ediquitte, class and bringing the southern bell way of life up north!

speaking of up north, I am leaving Ottawa to go home tomorrow woohoo! and the alpha chapter of Delta Psi Delta starts recruitment soon!

Vintage?

It appears that vintage is making a big come back, and yes I do know it has been for a while....

But, as of late it seems to be popping up everywhere I look!

This is very much style I have seen around campus for most of this semester, Kind of boyish and very modern, yet very vintage at the same time, add all those together and what do you get? = classic look

Keeping with Vintage a little 70's / 80's and a bit of pre- 90's Madonna mixed in there from Alice ...

I think as long as you do Vintage and do it right no matter the era your style will surely stand out from the crowd!

On a side note, I am very sorry I have not been posting as I had previously promised I would but I have become increasingly busy since I have been at school I can tell you that haha.

any ways the University I wound up at is Carleton University, not exactly the creme de la creme...je sais ha ha. mes je suis content ici,

I am taking global politics and that is and exclusive program...there are less than 20 in the whole university in this major!

but, if there is one thing I have learned about university it that it is not what people im

agine in any light!

as I sit here beside my boyfriend in the kitchen of his town house while his roomate is at the dinning table listening to classic rock and it softly resinates through the house, the smell of freshly cooked grill cheese wafts through the kitchen...I realize a couple of things

1. engineers are a curious species...(which half of the house is engineers and the other two are industrial design and a math major) they drink all night, worry about their exam and then piss the day away doing nothing, explain that to me?

2. you will find people will spend more time on sporcle a quiz site that quizes your knowledge on random facts, then they do study for their exams...I don't get the addiction myself but my roommates are also addicted I can peer into their rooms at any hour of the night and see them multi-tasking scorple and their essays lol..

as for me...I have concentration issues AKA I procrastinate I have distracted myself with my sorority this semester and it has been ever sooooo much fun ΔΨΔ <3>

I stopped with the blog for so many reasons I can not begin to tell you my loves :) but since it is summer I have time for you all! Are you excited? I hope so :P well hunnies what do you want to know about? my life? psssssh that's boring, you want to know about fashion, the good stuff.

well here it is;

I suggest pops of bright colour, everywhere I turn on queen st. (the fashion district) this is what i see my loves. generally it is a neutral tone or black and white paired with a bright neon or candy colour.

I myself have recently bought a pair if neon converse which I have now become known as the girl with the "highlighter Converse" ha ha.

Well, in a few of the magazines I read and a couple on-line one I have noticed a few trends...The first is wide led pants. la large culotte de jambe semble dériver dans et du style alot si naturellement je vous conseillerais de garder une paire dans vos toilettes. The second is the scarf which I myself have plenty of and think they help dress up any outfit! pendant le printemps cela semble tout à fait évident mais je dirais des couleurs de sorbet et des caractères floraux millésimés parce que nous voyons une touche en arrière aux années soixante et aux années soixante-dises pendant le printemps!

I am truly sorry I have not posted in about a week! I have exams and we'll, this year they actually count for something. But, today after exams I went shopping with my mom :). I bought a lovely hoodie that's sort-of military style and its so soft and comfortable, it's by 686. It was well worth the money I had to return the bench sweater I had bought earlier this week because it was about 130 dollars. I loved the sweater but it didn't look or feel like a 130 dollars, so it began to weigh on my mind a little bit.ha ha for those of you who have exams good luck!

If there is one trend I have noticed taking a slow climb in street style it is draping; I see it in many blogs that I frequent and trust me I make sure I am well informed before I tell you these things my lovelies! I read around 12-20 blogs every day to bring you my summary of the street style of the day. now I tell you drape...draping is definitely prominent you will see lots of layered jersey fabric from the basic designers and the main stream style stores like H&M just you wait!

HOLA! buenos tardes! I am very sorry that I did not post yesterday, but I have very exciting news! I just bought my prom dress here in Acapulco, yep in Mexico. For those of you that don't watch "My Sweet 16" or know very much about the Mexican culture they have something here called a Quince anos or on MTV you may have heard it called a Quinceara. basically it is like one girl's debutant ball...they pay huge money for these dresses I'm talking 10,000 pesos. these dresses are just dripping with material....they have 12 yards of farbric in the skirts and they are often worn with hoops. So I thought what better to do than get one of these dresses for prom? it will be the biggest one there and...the only one of it's kind there! oh...and I bought a Mexican fire opal ring....one of the most expensive opals on the planet....but that was only a few thousand pesos. anyways....pictures....

today, we took a bus tour of acapulco....my family rented a bus thing just for us...and i took lots of lovely pictures at the monestary at the top of the mountain. learned a lot about the history of Acapulco and realized that a lot of original Acapulco is mucho bonita comapared to nueva Acapulco...in fact I find the art deco archetecute breath taking....my favorite though I would say was seeing the flowers and the gardens at the monistary I love photography so...I mean it was perfect! we also went to my grandfather's friends house for dinner oh my god it was sooo good! I ate way too much! well thats all for tonight; buenos nochas.

Today my mom and took me to this really nice place to eat called; the kookaburra it was soooo good but, the waiters were erily quick to get the empty plates like it freaked me out! my mom lit a smoke and they were right there to do it for her, like all kI did was blink and they were there! I also tried this mexican candy that looked like a cowpaty gross! NO OFFENCE to those who like it but, it tasted like apple and burbon!

today I went to the market in acapulco, I saw a lot of different foods, candies :) and people. my spanish is getting better, though, it still sux! ja ja. I saw a little chawawa puppy today at the market but, like I said no usb lol. I was watching the canadian news this morning and guess what?.....snow storm hit toronto! pretty sure all my friends hate me because I wrote "tanning on the porch" as my facebook status :P I had the best mexican food today too! I think that knits will be quite chic all through the season hmmm? if you are planning to buy some...(if you haven't bought some already) I would go for greys or tans I will tell you that after having neon colours in for winter we will have earth tones for spring... apparently Urban Outfitters has a new line called obesity and speed, that's an eye popping name hmmm? the line is said to be cutting edge fashion, the line was started in the basement of an NYC apartment. what doesn't happen in NYC really? it's a great city! apparently the name is a commentary on the fashion industry? ouch I mean aside from the lovely Mr. lagerfeld the rest of the industry seems to be going towards "curvy" models...How very demode. but, I must say all-in-all I love the rocker chic look.

hello, this is not a post about fashion so if you happened to come across the blog I currently host for the less than adoring public considering I haven't hit star status, but don't get me wrong love posting for every single person who reads it and I love you all <3.

but, as of late I have been feeling a little or should I say engulfed in a mountainous amount of stress, My ex boyfriend is dating my best friend and when I tried to make peace with them, well, lets say I cried that night! hence why I can't wait to be done school, plus on top of that my average is only an 84.3% or a 3.67 GPA which is not were it needs to be I want to get in to queens or western...for those who are not Canadian they are the Yale and Princeton of Canada I don't know what to do... I feel completely alone because all of my friends have a BF or a GF and then there is me and considering the situation listed above I think that glass of wine had was well deserved I'm rather drunk and tired and my grammar is horrible so I think I'm going to be now considering it is around 1 am and my laptop wants to rest too. 'ello Loves! I'm on my way to Mexico in a approximately 2 weeks! I can't Wait we are staying in one of my grandparents condos in Acapulco, my mom wanted to stay in the in in porta viarta but my grandpa thought the kids (meaning me, Brandon, my sister and my step brother.) would much rather the action of Acapulco than the relaxation of porta viarta. I'm so excited I have been shopping for outfits for months! ha ha its quite sad I'm this excited I know but anyways here is some inspiration I found on the sartorialist.

hey, I the reason I am posting so late is that I had to film Shakespeare...I thought I was finished with that.....so I was at my friends house filming hamlet till 10:30 PM and we started at 3 PM ugh....like I said midterms suck!

so here's the deal, I have a dead camera literally dead! it needs to be replaced badly. It sucks up batteries like you you'd not believe and frankly its just old. so when the batteries charge or i buy new ones; I will take pictures of my new clothes and it will be amazing promise until then here is a little sneak peak of jenny next episode of gossip girl.

Donc voici l'affaire, j'ai un litterally d'appareil photo mort mort ! il a besoin d'être mal remplacé. J'ai un problème commercial avec ebay ! J'ai dépensé juste un chargement de camion d'argent, mon officaily de carte de crédit a obtenu son travail hors pour le nid 2 ans, omg que je ne veux pas penser comment s'est cassé je suis j'ai acheté un wtf de jupe de hermes a tort avec moi ? Stressed and romantic

hey loves, I have just slightly freaked out, one I'm super sleep deprived because of mid-terms my goodness you have no idea the stress I NEED AN 86 to get in to the well known schools in canada. mcgill, I'm not even looking at since i work two jobs and there is no way I can make 90's with 2 jobs. and lastly I gained 5 F*ing pounds, i'm 105 I know you're rolling your eyes 105 isn't that much; but I'm tiny so for me it really is! I need to stop stressing, thats whats making me fat, that and diet coke because it makes you bloat! any ways here are the clothes I bought last night on my break.

hey! i'm finished school today and discovered I don't like economics because the math has no intergral pattern that one can base an actual equation off of all it is, is this: the change in this devivded by the change in that gives you QS and then use that to find MU but first you have to complete the chart using and different equation? I think I Liked pre-calculus much better! (which I dropped in a week) any ways I don't want to bore you with economic math I just needed to get that off my chest, so this is my take on the white shirt\menswear. Hope you like it loves.

Hé ! je suis fini l'école et j'ai découvert aujourd'hui n'aime pas que la science économique parce que les maths n'a pas le modèle d'intergral que l'un peut baser une véritable équation de de tout c'est, est ceci : le changement dans ce devivded par le changement dans que vous donne QS et alors l'usage qui pour trouver MU mais premier vous devez complet le graphique utilisant et l'équation différente ? Je pense que j'Ai Aimé le pré-calcul beaucoup de mieux ! Hello my darligns, how are you? Incase you were wondering I'm fine. I just got home from school and thought you might want to see what fashion insparation I have for you today? well, I thought I would do fashion a la Kate Moss I think I did a pretty good job considering I didn't buy a thing....today I had noticed that fashion is going more towards a "Gender bender" and spring is resort wear which is nice, but my favorite trend...Romantic, well, thats only partly true I`m loving the seventies look too! I was so inspired after reading Karl Lagerfeld's blog...that man is the most amusing man to sit there and just read there and read the thoughts that just stream from his head on to the key board in front of him! I don't believe my creative genius is anything of the sort so at the moment I am not going to attempt to make anyone who reads this laugh or entice your own creative genius but I shall show you what made me so amused:

A first fashion moment

Today I decided to show everyone what I'm wearing (any cheers?....probably not) lately I have been reading a lot of blogs and looking at what people are doing. I personally love to see what people are wearing because there are two kinds of fashion (in my humble opinion) haute couture what the lovely Karl and Donatella and Philip and Marc give us, and for the rest of us who don't make millions a year and most definitely don't spend a few thousand on a dress, there is street fashion: for the people who will walk into banana republic, H&M or Zara and pick up some trends.
personally I love winners its like a fashion paradise (heaven is Holt Renfrew) so I decided to go for my own version of street fashion hope you enjoy it.

Aujourd'hui j'ai décidé de tout le monde montrer que je porte (n'importe quelles acclamations ? ....probably pas) dernièrement j'ai été lu beaucoup de blogs et regarde quels gens font. J'aime voir personnellement quels gens portent parce qu'il y a deux types de mode (dans mon Humilier l'opinion) haute couture que le beau Karl et Donatella et Philip et Marc donnent nous, et pour nous qui ne fait pas les millions par an et ne dépense pas le plus sans aucun doute quelque millier sur une robe, il y a la mode de rue : pour les gens qui marcheront dans la république de banane, H&ampli ; M ou Zara et prend quelques tendances. Personnellement j'aime les vainqueurs son aimé un paradis de mode (le ciel est Holt Renfrew) si j'ai décidé d'aller pour ma propre version d'espoir de mode de rue vous l'appréciez.

wow, so this is my very first post? I'm feeling very inspired by the fifties at the moment; mainly and most likely because I'm watching "Mad Men". It is the first time I have seen the show and the clothes are just amazing....not to say that I'm brave enough to wear any thing of the sort out of my house. maybe I am rambling because it's close to midnight if not there already, I promise future posts will me more awe inspiring.
