PLAID

I'm all for plaid at Christmas but I didn't realize it was still a street style staple! ....not that there is anything wrong with plaid. ha ha well I would just like to say merry Christmas and now I am going to eat lots of turkey and then it is a Christmas eve tradition in my family to open one present early on Christmas eve after dinner. ( my sis informs me that it will be daisy by mac Jacobs....but we shall see!)

THE BOOTS

So my lovelies I have done a naughty, naughty but oh so wonderful thing. I have bought a pair of one of the "it" boots of the season (above) they are Gucci and they kicked my bank accounts ass but I love the boots more than my now; very, very small bank account! I'm sure my bank will forgive me :D

If I was brave enough...

OK, first off I have to say I'm sorry I have been sooooooooooo busy with homework and university applications I have applied to all universities in the G13 aka (the group 13, Ivy league of Canada) except Carlton, it is really a second rate sort-of university but...Its good back up, any ways as for the post I really would LOVE to dawn a fur piece but I'm afraid a year or two down the road it will look more like fashion victim than chic!

Okay so I am going to start doing fashion posts again, because frankly with out this blog I would lose interest in fashion and roll out of bed and probably put on my university sweats and tank and hoodie but with this blog I actually care about the world around me and I have been intense in to fashoin since the seventh grade. HOLA! buenos tardes! I am very sorry that I did not post yesterday, but I have very exciting news! I just bought my prom dress here in Acapulco, yep in Mexico. For those of you that don't watch "My Sweet 16" or know very much about the Mexican culture they have something here called a Quince anos or on MTV you may have heard it called a Quinceara. basically it is like one girl's debutant ball...they pay huge money for these dresses I'm talking 10,000 pesos. these dresses are just dripping with material....they have 12 yards of farbric in the skirts and they are often worn with hoops. So I thought what better to do than get one of these dresses for prom? it will be the biggest one there and...the only one of it's kind there! oh...and I bought a Mexican fire opal ring....one of the most expensive opals on the planet....but that was only a few thousand pesos. anyways....pictures....

today, we took a bus tour of acapulco....my family rented a bus thing just for us...and i took lots of lovely pictures at the monestary at the top of the mountain. learned a lot about the history of Acapulco and realized that a lot of original Acapulco is mucho bonita comapared to nueva Acapulco...in fact I find the art deco archetecute breath taking....my favorite though I would say was seeing the flowers and the gardens at the monistary I love photography so...I mean it was perfect! we also went to my grandfather's friends house for dinner oh my god it was sooo good! I ate way too much! well thats all for tonight; buenos nochas.

Candy?

Today my mom and took me to this really nice place to eat called; the kookaburra it was soooo good but, the waiters were erily quick to get the empty plates like it freaked me out! my mom lit a smoke and they were right there to do it for her, like all kI did was blink and they were there! I also tried this mexican candy that looked like a cowpaty gross! NO OFFENCE to those who like it but, it tasted like apple and burbon!

Market aca

today I went to the market in acapulco, I saw a lot of different foods, candies :) and people. my spanish is getting better, though, it still sux! ja ja. I saw a little chawawa puppy today at the market but, like I said no usb lol. I was watching the canadian news this morning and guess what?.....snow storm hit toronto! pretty sure all my friends hate me because I wrote "tanning on the porch" as my facebook status :P I had the best mexican food today too! I had tostadas to die for and if you don't know they are; A fried flat corn tortilla topped with a layer of beans, shredded beef or chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocado and salsa. any ways it is late here and it was an informative post I believe; buenos nochas

TEAMO

It is approx. 7:45 here and it is beautiful out so I thought I would show you the view from my balcony, its lovely first thing in the morning! I am not tired at all curiously. so instead of a head shot i leaned my laptop over the edge of the belconly and used my web cam :). any ways....there is this writting in the sand that reads "TEAMO" i don't know if you can see it there....but I think it is someone's name cuz I looked it up and there is no noun or verb for it,
